Jackie and Max Medical Fund
Donation protected
Moving Mountains For Mastiffs has recently taken in two rescues. We are a new rescue and eager to help every dog that we can in any way we can. The biggest expense when rescuing a dog is for medical. We are asking you to read both dogs’ stories and please donate to help us give them a great future.
Jackie (Mastiff Mix) found herself in a kill shelter in Texas. With the help of a team of people, she found her way into the rescue of MM4M. Jackie is currently staying in boarding awaiting her transport to her new foster home in Wisconsin. Boarding for her is going to cost around $220.00. After boarding, her transport is going to cost around $150.00. Once she reaches her foster home, she will need to see a vet right away. She is going to need the basics such as shots, flea meds, heart worm meds, chipping, spaying and blood work. The average cost to cover that is usually around $500.00. Jackie is going to need extra medical attention. As of right now, we are not sure how much that will cost. She has a obvious leg injury. We plan on seeking vets’ opinion and X-rays once she arrives in her foster home. Leg injuries can be extremely costly. We pray for Jackie’s sake, it’s nothing major.
Max (Cane Corso) was recently rescued from an extremely abusive home by a sweet man. However, he is unable to care for Max. MM4M found a wonderful foster for him. Max is currently in Kentucky. He has seen a vet for a overall check up. We were told that he has a flea allergy that has cause some major sores on his back. With medication, he is healing quickly. Max will also need the basics that will cost around $500.00 plus food and basic expenses. He also is going to need some dental work. At this time, we are not sure how much it will cost totally cover his vet bills.
All money donated goes directly to the dogs’ expenses. We never use donations for office expenses or frivolous items. Medical expenses can get extremely high for even a healthy dog. It is common for rescues have some major health issues. We want to do everything we can to help them and find a awesome forever home.
Please donate to help us to help them! Thank You!
