Jackie Kicks Cancer

On November 15th, 2019, Jackie Baumgard was diagnosed with a ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), and a grade 3 tumor in her breast. While this diagnoses was good in terms of cancer because of it not being invasive in 15-20% of cases, we came to find out after a lumpectomy that Jackie is part of the minority. Now, Jackie must undergo either a single or double mastectomy depending on test results, and will have to undergo chemotherapy for 3 months following. Unfortunately, it does not stop there. With her son Logan's wedding fast approaching in August of 2020, Jackie will most likely need to purchase a wig or scarf of some kind to make her feel more confident after hair loss. She will also be required to take more medications for up to 10 years. Any donation can help to ease some of the stress that is currently being felt by Jackie's family is much appreciated. Jackie is an absolutely wonderful human being, and teaches special education children for a living. Every day she works to bring joy in children's lives, and always puts both them and her family before everything.
