In January I entered a treatment program to alleviate neuropathy symptoms in my hands and feet. I have seen a lot of improvement in all aspects of my problem but the underlying issues are still at play. Since my doctor is a functional medicine practitioner his goal is not just to alleviate symptoms but to build wellness. Building wellness means addressing the underlying issues as well as the symptoms. For this reason I added a dietary protocol to address inflammatory issues and I have the opportunity to use stem cell therapies to address the orthopedic issues. This is why I am asking for your help. These therapies do not fall under the umbrella of insurance and they are costly. Even though my doctor has offered me a significant discount from his normal fees it is way beyond my ability to pay.
 
I feel confident that the stem cell therapies would make a significant difference in both my neuropathy and mobility issues. The work I have done so far has greatly improved my sensory experience and my balance, lowered my blood pressure 20+ points and reduced my weight. Now I would like to be able to be on my feet for more than 15 minutes without pain and stiffness in my knees, shins and feet. I want to be able to go walking again, stand up to play with my band on stage or even stand in the line at a fiddler’s convention. I want to be able to cook or do household tasks without having to sit down every 30 minutes and I would like to get back to a little gardening and plant care. I feel that stem cell therapies will help get me there so as difficult as it is for me to ask for help, I am asking now.
