Jack's beard comes off

Hi All, it’s time for the beard to go and I thought after 5 years it might as well do some good so I’m endeavoring to raise $500.00 for The Black Dog Institute.

I have decided to donate to The Black Dog Institute as they do fantastic work in this area. Both in my personal life and in my experience in the construction industry i have seen a lot of men affected by depression and mental illness some who even lost their lives to the black dog. I have also battled depression myself although i'm glad to say i am lucky enough to have come out on top. It's an on going battle for so many people out there 

The Black Dog Institute - is dedicated to understanding, preventing and treating mental illness.  They are about creating a world where mental illness is treated with the same level of concern, immediacy and seriousness as physical illness; where scientists work to discover the causes of illness and new treatments, and where discoveries are immediately put into practice through health services, technology and community education. 


Mental illness touches us all either directly or indirectly so if you could spare a few dollars to go towards The Black Dog Institute it would be greatly appreciated.

I will be shaving it off this coming thursday the 29th.
