Jace Strong

On Tuesday, August 15, during a play at his evening football practice, Jace broke his fibula and tibia bones just below his knee and had to have emergency surgery. A rod was placed in his leg to stabilize the bone. Several days after his surgery he developed compartment syndrome in his leg which caused him to have to go in for another surgery. Today he had his 7th surgery to try to fight off a possible infection. Due to the hurricane, he was evacuated from Victoria to a hospital in Austin where his parents have stayed by his side ever since. There have been so many ups and downs through this whole process and his parents have stayed strong in their faith knowing that God has a plan for Jace...even if it wasn't the plan they or he had for himself.
