Jablonski/Waters Musicals
Donation protected
Lauren Waters and Marc Jablonski write offbeat, tragicomic musicals and need your support jumpstarting our professional productions!
The first project in our queue is our musical-play hybrid, The Biography of Angela B. Moonlanding. This show will be having a four performance workshop at the PIT Loft April 18th-22nd. (Tickets are $8 here! https://thepit-nyc.com/events/the-biography-of-angela-b-moonlanding-a-workshop/)
Where your donations will go:
1. To compensate our current cast and creative for their hard work during the workshop development, as well as cast and creative teams for future projects.
2. Help us pay for rehearsal spaces and venue rentals
3. Support our marketing materials and campaigns
More about us:
Lauren (playwriting/bookwriting) and Marc (music/lyrics) met at Muhlenberg College in 2011 and quickly began writing absurdist plays and musicals. With college resources, they were able to mount their productions of Drew is Dead (a play with music about a dysfunctional relationship in a house with a fish named Drew) and Do You Wanna Talk About It? (a musical about two orphans trying to find a home). Separately, they have been studying and developing their respective techniques. Lauren saw full productions of her plays Three Bedroom (MainStage at Muhlenberg College) and Snake Eggs (New Jersey Repertory Company). Marc has been sound designing and composing for shows around NYC at venues including Dixon Place, the Access Theater, the Gym at Judson, IATI, and Under St. Marks. He’s also developing his sound play Circulus In Probando with the theater collective A Certain Something.
Your donations are investments in our upcoming theater projects, and we won't let you down!
