Jabari Suluki Burial Fund

Hi! My name is Michael Jordan I live in Harlem, New York and I'm raising $10,000 to help pay for my dear friend/brother funeral expenses. It is with profound sorrow that we announce the unexpected and sudden death of our beloved brother Jabari Suluki. We ask first and foremost to keep our brother Jabari in prayer and ask for the Most High’s mercy on his soul. Jabari who suffered from sickle cell disease, passed this week, he was only 28 years old. He is survived by his Mother, sister Zakiyyah Suluki who will be receiving this money for the expenses, she will be paying for a funeral as well as flying his body from New York to his hometown in Orlando, Fl. Sister Zakiyyah is in New York and will receive the money directly from church administration.            Jabari was an encourager and the kind of young man who would give you the shirt off his back and the shirt off of someone else’s back if you needed it. He never complained and was always a willing warrior.  He was always smiling and and so full of life.  Jabari who was a vital member to our GOCC NYC Choir ministry with his radiant voice, had expressed in the beginning of his walk his hopes of seeing a more devotional segment to the church via the choir. I know he was extremely happy attending this years Passover as he partook in the play and choir while watching the rest of our GOCC congregation display their beautiful gifts and talents for the Most High.  Jabari’s kind, loving and passionate personality will be missed as he touched so many of us with his infectious charisma and love.  Words of comfort as we pray and hope he’s delivered to Abraham’s Bosom, 1 Thessalonians 4:13  But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14For if we believe that Yashaya died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Yashaya will Ahayah bring with him. 15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18Wherefore comfort one another with these words. We are asking for contributions of any amount which can be made here.
