Support a Family Displaced by House Fire

On Saturday afternoon, my son's family home caught on fire. It started in the chimney in the living room. GOD bless our firemen with their quick response, they were able to contain the fire before it spread to the rest of the house.

Due to water, smoke and soot damage. My son found out today from the adjuster that there was more damage than they expected and that they won't be able to live in their house for probably 6 months or more. They are having to live in a hotel, which we all know can be quite expensive plus they are having to figure out food temporarily which also is expensive, especially for a family of six.

(2 senior adults and children ages 11 - 18 years) their 11-year-old is autistic.

This fire has left them shocked, unsure and overwhelmed of how they are going to deal with their financing beyond what insurance is more than likely going to cover. It is going to be especially hard given they both have already and will probably continue to miss work here and there to get things done.

Any kind of donation or financial support will definitely help their family, to keep them afloat since it will be 6 months or more, before they can get back in their own home. Luckily, they were able to salvage most clothing and most of their material possessions although a good amount of their salvageable items will be placed in storage until, they move back in.
