STONE SOUP PROJECT

We have received so much  support and help thus far from friends and neighbors.   Though there are many working diligently to secure funding and expand this program, we need help to get us through until that happens.  

We currently deliver soup to 90 Greene County residents, Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Fridays.  All drivers are one hundred percent volunteers.  

We want to be able to continue to offer this service to all that we can, but as a new cafe, cannot financially sustain this by ourselves. 

Restaurants have rallied and donated food, drivers are showing up and driving 30+ miles to carry out this mission, and family and friends are writing checks and offering cash and assistance.   The outpouring of support is overwhelming and makes me proud that this is my home. 

I have teamed up with my sister, Heather Williams (Pippy’s Food Truck)  who is a kick butt organizer.  Thank you for helping us be able to continue to do what we do... feed people from our hearts, no matter what.  

The target amount is enough to fund two months. Because your contribution is being serviced through the Catskill Community Center, which is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, your contribution will be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law; for more information, please contact your tax adviser. If the country is back up and running within two months, any balance will be donated to the Community Center.
