IVF costs!
Donation protected
Hi!
In 2022 we decided to try for another baby and ended up having a devastating complete molar pregnancy. A complete molar pregnancy is essentially a nonviable pregnancy that also has a 15-25% chance of becoming an aggressive cancerous growth. I needed an urgent D&C, and I am still doing ongoing testing to ensure the mole does not become cancerous. We still want to have more children although the doctors have told us that it is unsafe to pursue a spontaneous pregnancy, as the risk of a second complete mole is significantly higher now.
Thus, we are pursuing IVF! IVF genetic testing can reduce the chance of another complete mole by 100%! We have a lot of appointments to get to, and testing to be done, but we are hopeful that we can have more biological children this way. Unfortunately, our insurance does not cover IVF (most insurances don't), and it is wildly expensive. With the continued medical bills from my D&C and ongoing testing/bloodwork, our medical bills are getting bigger and bigger.
We would greatly appreciate any donations to help us create the family we've wished and hoped for.
Thank you all so much for your support and generosity.
