save my leg
I'm currently stuck in the phillipines due to the pandemic.i'm a 66 year old pensioner.my pension was just adequate to live here in a small rented cottage, and my maintenance med's(which are expensive here)and humble food. a month ago a was bitten on my foot by a spider.after a few days the painful blister popped and healed up.several weeks later my leg swelled up and large painful blister formed..we tried treating it at home with ice packs neosprin and diphenhydramine. a week later it became unbearable .I went to the ER and was checked into hospital. I was diagnosed with pneumonia and MERSA an antibiotic resistant staphylococcus infection. My family and son has sent all the savings they could spare .my prescription are the most expensive antibiotics and my friends travel daily to buy them at the government hospital saving me about 70%...its still about $200 a day including all the supplies.my dr. feels she can send me home on saturday changing over to oral medications.i have an outstanding hospital bill o $2000.i only have $600 I havent paid my rent and I'm sure my oral medications will be costly my Dr. told me I was close to getting an ampution and to continue pharmaceutical treatment until fully healed.
any help will be greatly apprecated.
