Kaurel (Palaniuk) Brass, was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis [PPMS] in 2011.
Her life and the lives of her sons (Kyle & Kenton) and her husband (Kurt) have drastically changed in a very short time.
Kaurel was as busy as every Mom; picking up her sons, driving them to hockey and school, making dinner, taking care of her family. She is an amazing person, a wonderful friend and was an awesome ringette player.
But now, as the symptoms continually worsen (fatigue, loss of balance, weakness, and pain); Kaurel’s energy, her ability to walk, her ability to drive, and working are no longer possible.
We hope you will help improve Kaurel’s quality of life.
Your donation will help achieve our goal of $20, 000 which will be used for a special bed, mobility aids, and improvements within her home. The main hope is to allow Kaurel to regain a little bit of her independence that PPMS has taken from her.
