Dear friends,

When I first published this fundraiser, I had a certain idea in my head about how this year was going to go...and then life happened, like it does.

In June I released a Shakespeare album that cost me virtually nothing to make, thanks to my partner/engineer Oliver. I was then supposed to go in to the studio to record the EP, but some health issues re-surfaced and I was forced to put the project on hold.

After the financial setbacks from the health journey (and yes, I'm okay) and now my dear old car biting the dust, I'm faced with some difficult decisions about how I want to handle the rest of the year.

How I want to handle it, is I want to get in there and record this dang EP that I've been sitting on for nearly two years, and I want to be able to stay true to my original vision of how I want it recorded, and who I want to do it with. And that's where you all come in.

To all the folks who already donated, thank you from the bottom of my heart for getting this thing underway. Now we've got to spread the word. If everyone on my friend's list just donated $5 I would exceed my goal. Let's make it happen.
