Running for Kids in Cambodia
Ultra-marathon in Bhutan
 
At the end of May Linda Dabley, an amazing Australian, will be running the Ultra Marathon in Bhutan to raise money for Kids in Cambodia.

The event starts on Friday, May 29st form Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan and will end 200klms away in  Paro. This is one of the most arduous marathons in the world. It has the added challenge of running to an altitude of some 8,000 meters !!! The official website for the run is:

She has previously run the Gobi desert and the Phonm Pen to Siem Reap ultra-marathons amongst others.

 
Linda is an experienced marathon runner and a committed teacher, who spends much of her time helping under privileged children. As an insight into her character, before setting off on the run, she will be teaching disadvantaged children in Northern Laos.

Linda has chosen to run for our KICK (Kids in Cambodia Kickstart) projects.

Please encourage Linda by sponsoring her run and at the same time help the KICK projects. 100% of money raised will go directly to the current projects including:

·         Filtration systems to provide clean drinking water to the schools

·         Girls and woman’s health, education, and safety

·         Micro loans to encourage small business enterprises for villagers

·         Continued funding for social enterprises already in progress
