Help Tara beat Breast cancer

Donation protected
I would like to help Tara and her family raise money toward her medical bills and day to day living expenses, as she is a wonderful, selfless young lady that has been dealt a tough blow.

Tara and Dermot met just over 2 years ago and they instantly fell in love - they had finally found their soul mate. They became engaged a year later and not long after that they were blessed with falling pregnant.

Tara felt a lump in her breast when she was 7 months pregnant and as breast cancer runs in her family she was worried and went to have it checked with a breast specialist. She was referred for an ultrasound at a imaging clinic and the report came back as a cyst, nothing to be concerned about.

A few months later they had a beautiful baby girl, Eve, who is the sunshine in their lives. They couldn’t believe how lucky they were and looking forward to starting their lives together as a family.

When Eve was 4 months old, Tara was still concerned about the lump as it had grown and started to deform her breast. She went back to the specialist and he sent her for a biopsy. This time she was told that next to the cyst there was actually a large mass that had been previously missed and it was in fact breast cancer.

Tara and her young family were in shock. How could this happen? How could they miss it? Why didn’t they send her to a breast clinic for tests given her family history? So many questions and uncertainty for the future.

Tara underwent diagnostic tests and it was found that the cancer had metastasised to her spine. The prognosis given to her was that it was stage IV terminal breast cancer. Dermot, Tara and their family and friends were in disbelief. They could not accept this fate as they have a young family to think of, so Tara researched her options with multiple specialists to come up with the best plan to beat this, for Eve, Dermot and of course herself.

Tara has begun chemotherapy treatment and is struggling with daily life and managing a young family. With financial pressures due to not being able to return to work, the daily expenditures that come with a young family and also the uncertainty of what the future holds in Dermots current job, the financial pressures are mounting. To have some of this burden lifted would certainly alleviate a great amount of stress so that they can feel more secure and comfortable.

We hope Tara will see Eve grow up, go to school, fall in love and live life for many years to come...or at least be able to spend some quality time with her family without an unnecessary struggle.

Please, if you could donate just a small amount that would be so very appreciated.

It will help to purchase some much needed household items, provide a more certain financial future for Eve and maybe one day, if Tara’s health permits, go towards a trip for the 3 of them to Dermot’s home town in Ireland where much of Dermot’s family live.

Please help Tara live life to the fullest with her much much loved family.

Thankyou from the bottom of our hearts xx
