Hi friend, there is a woman living with HIV in community that is in need. She has 4 children, living in a 1 bedroom, She married someone and things did not work so he left outside of Canada. and Rev Canada has tied her up in a beuracracy of her Child Tax creditbecause they are still considering her as married. She's had a challenge navigating how to advocate for herself, has since received help to complete documents needed. Rev Can has told her she needs to wait 12 weeks to receive any funds. She called me desperate because she has no food. She's been referred to places where she can get staple food but she needs real groceries. Food banks can only do so much, she has been referred to HIV sector assistance but again not enough. My hopes is to purchase gift cards for her so she has a well stocked fridge till Child Tax benefit comes in. 10, or 20's can add up to help this girl out. Please donate what you can.
