Bill's Burn Recovery Campaign

Donation protected
Our Dad Bill Mushtare was in a flash fire that occurred on the job. Bill was down on the floor working when the entire room went up in flames . All doors were locked except for 1 exit. Bill was able to run towards his sons voice through the flame to the exit. Bills legs were on fire and they were able to put them out once outside. Bill was transfered to Baton Rouge General where he was treated and has been in the Burn Unit recovering. It was found he has 3rd & 4th degree burns on his legs. He has been through one surgery to repair the skin with graphs and we will find out next week if more will be needed. He will be at Baton Rouge General until better. Everyday he has to go through horrific cleanings and therapies. It's an extreamly painful and hard recovery. The hardest part is when they clean the burns daily and when he has to stand. When he stands all the blood rushes to his legs making it feel like his legs are on fire all over again. It's a very hard process to go through and recovery will be long. Not only is this a physical injury but mental as well. Bill has also been suffering with PTSD and having flashbacks of the incident.

The reason we have set up this fundraiser for his recovery is bc our Dad is going to be out of work for several months at least. Bill is self-employeed meaning if he is not working he is not making any money. Our parents and little sister are left with no source of income to pay their bills. Many people have reached out to us asking how they can help. ANY donation to this fund will be a huge help to our family and help keep them afloat until our Dad is better and able to get back to work. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Even though this has been a horrific traumatizing experience we are so thankful and blessed that God kept the people involved in this fire alive and that God is working through this situation to grow us and make us stronger. We know he is going to heal those involved and bring ashes to beauty.
