Tommy Holden : Neuro ICU Patient

Meet Tommy Holden, an 18 year old Cape Fear High School student born and raised here in Eastover, NC. Tommy just had a birthday this May, the day before Mother's Day. He is a downhome southern boy who loves God, his momma, and his truck. The kid can tell a joke like no other and his smart, sarcastic comments are always right on time. He is really involved with his family. He's Papa's right hand man in the yard. As they say, "If he can't fix it, it ain't broke."
May 23rd, we had some real bad weather here... Tommy was driving his old Ford his dad had given him. He was fixing it up. We got a phone call that evening, Tommy had been in a terrible car accident. He was rushed to Cape Fear Hospital and sent to the trauma unit.
You see, Tommy had suffered massive brain trauma. No one could see him for a long while until they let his momma go back. A critical care unit came from Chapel Hill, NC to take him up to UNC hospital for the next steps ahead. He's still there. His momma and the rest of the family will not leave his side. He's fighting for life. And we are praying, seeking, and believing that Tommy will pull through. Until he wakes up, we are trying our hardest to raise funds and help Tommy and the family as they walk this long journey to hopeful restoration and healing. Please consider donating to his cause.
