GOD'S GLORY PANTRY FEEDING MINISTRY

Donation protected
My wife Gloria Layog Landry was born into extreme poverty to a single mother of six children in Pasig, Manila, Philippines.
As a small child she remembers selling plastic bags at the market to help her mom who cooked and sold food there.
Glo's estranged dad was killed when she was 5 and her mom died when she was 9 of breast cancer.
She remembers the Buena Noche "the Good night" just before Christmas, walking around seeing and smelling the food in people's houses.
She remembers hearing Maligayang Pasko "Merry Christmas" and Manigong Bagong Taon "Happy or Prosperous New Year".
It was hard to hear what they said because of the grumbling of her stomach.
Many children throughout the Philippines suffer from malnourishment.

Her adopted Lolo-her guardian would go through the discarded non sellable food items from the thrash at the local market for the food they ate.

Fast forward, Bruce and Gloria Landry are retired Southern Baptist North American Mission Board, Mission Service Corps Missionaries (unsalaried), retired Pastor, Active Disaster Relief workers of the Louisiana Baptist Convention trained in chaplaincy, Chainsaw, Mudout, Feeding and any other area where asked to serve Christ when not on this ongoing Philippines mission.

Humble beginning's
2013

(Bruce) Gloria asked me once we retired if I would help her start a chidren's feeding program for the poor, malnourished and underserved children's in the Philippines.
As God led, we did our first feeding in December of 2013 in the Baguio General Hospital Compound.
We fed 35 children and several adultswhere God planted the seeds of our current ministry.

CONTINUING HIS TASKS BEFORE US...

We continue to work with over 50 sites staggered every other month throughout the Philippines through God's guidance and His faithful supporters.

We ask the churches we work with to go out of their church buildings into a poorer community nearby and feed the children bread (a meal) and to tell them the story of Jesus, the bread of life from John Chapter 6, emphasis verse 6:35.
And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

We take no funds personally from God's Glory Pantry but do help provision our church partners.
