Payton Lea Crouse

Hi, my name is Terri Tucker and I’m starting this gofundme for my late granddaughter, Payton Lea Crouse, and her parents, Jesse and Amber Crouse.

As most know, Jesse and Amber were expecting their first child in September. They welcomed their sweet baby girl, Payton Lea Crouse, on August 23rd at 8:32am. 6 lbs 13oz and 20.5 inches of pure perfection.

Payton was born with a congenital heart disease called hypoplastic left heart syndrome, also known as “half a heart”. Payton underwent an open heart surgery at 7 days old. She experienced some complications and underwent many surgeries and procedures over the past few weeks. She truly showed everyone what she was made of, even with half a heart. Unfortunately, Payton developed an infection and became septic. On October 6th, Payton’s fight had come to an end, surrounded by her loving family.

Over the last 6 weeks, Jesse and Amber have been off work and traveling back and forth from Children’s hospital. Though there are no words to ease the pain of the loss of their first child, we are asking for funds to help offset the costs of the funeral expenses and the medical bills that have began to pile up. Family and friends will be received Wednesday, October 11, 2023, 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301. The service will be Thursday, October 12th at 10 am with Pastor Gary Whipkey officiating.

Interment to follow in Claysville Cemetery.
