TNR Trust: rabies, spay neuter, vet care campaigns

TNR Trust is helping to make lives better for pets, children and adults by offering free rabies vaccinations for dogs and cats (which is not provided by the Government), as well as spay and neutering, which helps decrease the animal population, while also educating on dog bite prevention and safety around dogs.  


Children--who are the main caretakers for many of the dogs-- also learn about how to take care of their pets during the campaigns. Young children learn to handle their dogs and cats with kindness, and you know this is helping them learn empathy for both other animals and people.


In addition, dozens of animals at each campaign are treated for injuries, wounds, worms, growths, skin problems such as mange, nutrition issues - the  owner's want to help their pet, but cannot afford vet care. Wherever possible TNR tries to address each issue giving the pet the care and treatment it needs.

Everyone wants the best for their pet!  TNR is often the only hope for impoverished people who keep dogs and cats.  

Since the launch of  the TNR Mobile Clinic in March 2019
9 weekend campaigns have achieved: 
5,047 dogs and cats rabies vaccinated and dewormed
   639 dogs and cats sterilized 
1,277 children educated on safety around animals

Funds raised will help TNR continue to go out to poverty stricken areas and help dogs and cats that otherwise would go without any care from a veterinarian.
