A Boy and His Dog

Our son Drake finally got the dog he’s been dreaming about for YEARS. For three blissful weeks, we were in puppy heaven. Then the unthinkable happened... a weird, but all-too-common accident. Drake and Dugglass were walking together, got tangled up in the leash and Drake tripped and stepped on Dugglass’s paw. Sadly, he sustained a fracture to both the ulna and radius bones. Drake is devastated. His new best friend is hurting and he feels immensely responsible. All of our hearts are aching.
