Brooke Texas Aggie grad 1990. Simply need help $200. Thank you! I am so grateful for the help and all the good wishes.

$200 would be a huge help to get started. It would help with groceries until April 26

I am a 1990 graduate BA in Political Science minor in History. I lived in Hughes and Rudder Dorms and loved Bonfire. I miss it every year. I got my ring before there was a Ring day. We picked it up alone from the Former student Bldg and the tradition was to dunk it in a pitcher of beer at the Chicken. Since I don't drink, I decided to dunk in a cup of beer with a few friends. It was no less proud a day or better ceremony. I have worn my Ring every day since the day I got it.

This is for my Aggie nation, Brit friends, really all who will consider... I am a proud former student of Texas A&M U class of 1990, Texas and Brit. I have also lived in England as a child.

I am in need of any help possible for car repairs to my Mom's Chevy Equinox and some medical treatment for arthritis i.e. pain shots in the back, possible knee replacement. We are hoping for help from a mechanic we know Possible $2500-$3000 bill, we also need shots in the lower back that are several hundred dollars every two months for the better part of a year.

We had a car accident but we only had the one car and of course I feel guilty for giving my Mom hardship, she has been good to me since the pandemic.

I want more than anything to help pay for repairs and stop being such a burden.
I am asking for help even though it is hard because simply, I need it.

I was working Uber and Doordash to pay my share of the bills mostly because it offered flexibility, as my Mom is recovering from Colon cancer. Unfortunately with the accident I can't help pay bills or pay for the repairs on the car. We find it hard to get to all the doctors appointments.

My medical issues with my knees and back make it hard to work a lot of jobs but gig work was a good way to earn money.
I have severe arthritis in my L4/5 disk as well as both knees. It's a family illness I'm afraid. Doordash was flexible and allowed me to look after my mom with her health issues plus mine. I will go back to it if I can get the car repaired.

I have applied for any remote jobs i can find but nothing has come through yet. In fact I had some good advice on jobs from folks in the Aggies Helping Aggies group which I so appreciate. I won't stop trying and applying.

I have been told by some family not to reach out this way for help but i believe in people. If people can help they will, if not thats ok too.
Any little bit helps and is so needed.
I struggle with my mental health shame and pride. But I have to put the welfare of my Mom first and to deal with the shame by humbley asking for help and put away my pride.

Prayer and/or good wishes are welcome too.So welcome.
If at all possible I would be so grateful for help I just need a way to get a leg up and back on my feet. New Year better times.

Bless you and Gig Em! Thank you for reading I know it's a lot.

Please pass this along, repost and spread the word.
I have been reading some other Gofunme stories and many are truly tragic and so deserving of support.

My story is not as tragic as death, but I have come to a low place of sadness and real need. Please consider giving my situation. I promise on all I hold dear to pay it forward. I need some hope and faith restored. Please give if you can even a few dollars would make the biggest difference to me. Please help me to make up for some trouble we are facing. I won't waste the second third fourth chance this is. On my Aggie Honor.

Please and Thank you Thank you Thank you
