We need your help to save Sean. Yesterday, Dec 19th we discovered that Sean needs urgent Oral Surgery. Seems weird right? Yes! Seans wisdom teeth are larger than normal with very big roots. The top have grown into his sinus cavity (this explains the terrible migraines for the last year or more that have been progressively worse). When they try to remove them the sinus bone will likely detach, causing serious medical problems so he will need a bone graft. WORSE news, the bottom ones are dangerously close to his lingual nerve. This nerve lets him talk, eat and have feeling in his tongue and face. One of These lower wisdom teeth is not done growing and almost touching this nerve. If it grows to make contact when they try to remove it they predict it will sever this nerve and leave him disabled permanently. The best possible outcome is to remove these urgently and have a specialist do it. We are meeting with the specialty oral surgeons asap for an estimate and appointment. We are a family who works hard, multiple jobs just to get by. We have insurance which will maybe cover a small piece of this but not nearly enough. His only hope to have this fixed before the result is permanent loss of function is help from all of you. Please help us save our beautiful, witty son.
