Justice for Marvin

Donation protected
His name was Marvin Scott III, my son.

Born February 22nd and taken way too soon at the hands of 7 officers on Sunday March 14th. I was notified by text of my son death the FOLLOWING day Monday, March 15th at 2:32PM.

He was suspected of smelling like marijuana at an outlet mall in Allen, TX. When police arrived they observed him in apparent mental health distress— so they took him to jail. Not a mental health facility, just jail. In the jail he was sprayed with pepper spray, a spit hood was placed over his head and he was held down with a knee and “restrained to death.”

He was 26 and schizophrenic. He needed help. Allen PD & Collin County COs helped him to death.

The whole system must change. All of it— starting with accountability. Crisis is not criminal.

To follow the story please google Marvin Scott, lll.

Procedes will assist our family during this time of bereavement.

God bless you all .
