BREVNO… “Fireproof”
“Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;” (I Peter 4:12 )
The flames consumed our building and all the equipment where hundreds of boys and girls had received through this sport (gymnastics) and for so many years the opportunity to build a solid and bold character and develop discipline values, responsibility, and a teamwork sense. But just like the fire can consume it can also test and temper.
At BREVNO, under the leadership of our coach and friend Mario Espinosa, some parents and friends we have decided to sum our will and our resources to overcome this test together.
The principles of a good stewardship and transparency have taken us to generate this site through which all the support from friends, family, gymnasts, former students, and parents given to overcome this emergency will be concentrated, administrated, and given accountability.
Through our trust in God we make the words found 2nd Corinthians 4 our own. “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed”
Thank you so much for your valuable support. We appreciate and value every prayer, every word of encouragement, every dollar, but most importantly every will to keep us standing fulfilling our mission to transform lives and forging character through gymnastics.
BREVNO… “A prueba de fuego”
“Queridos hermanos, no se extrañen del fuego de la prueba que están soportando, como si fuera algo insólito.” (1 Pedro 4:12)
Las llamas consumieron nuestro edificio y todo el equipo donde cientos de niños y niñas han recibido a través de este deporte (la gimnasia) y durante muchos años, la oportunidad de forjar un carácter firme y atrevido, y desarrollar valores de disciplina, responsabilidad y trabajo en equipo. Así como el fuego pude consumir, también puede probar y templar.
En BREVNO, bajo el liderazgo de nuestro entrenador y amigo, Mario Espinosa, algunos padres de familia y amigos, decidimos sumar nuestra voluntad y nuestros recursos para sobrepasar esta prueba.
Los principios de buena mayordomía y transparencia nos han llevado a generar este sitio, mediante el cual se estarán concentrando, administrando y rindiendo cuentas de todos los apoyos que han ofrecido amigos, familiares, gimnastas, exalumnos y padres de familia, para superar esta etapa de emergencia.
Con nuestra confianza en Dios, hacemos nuestras las palabras de 2 Corintios 4, “Pero tenemos este tesoro en vasos de barro, para que la excelencia del poder sea de Dios, y no de nosotros, que estamos atribulados en todo, mas no angustiados; en apuros, mas no desesperados; perseguidos, mas no desamparados; derribados, pero no destruidos.”
Gracias, muchas, muchas gracias de antemano por su valioso apoyo. Apreciamos y valoramos cada oración, cada palabra de ánimo, cada peso y, sobre todo, cada voluntad para mantenernos de pie, cumpliendo nuestra misión de transformar vidas y forjar carácter a través de la gimnasia.
