Afghanistan Women Council
The situation in Afghanistan is deeply troubling. A severe drought has devastated food crops in a country already reeling from an economic crisis which has wiped out jobs, salaries and livelihoods. 25 million are falling into poverty.
“Some days we eat grass.” This is the reality for families struggling to fill their bellies. Beggars rely on the kindness and compassion of those who share.
Afghanistan Women Council is working hard to bring aid and support to families. A little goes a long way. Food security is paramount and restarting the economy with trade opportunities and education provide tangible hope for a self-sufficient future.
Will you donate to Afghans and show them you care? We will share personal stories with you to show what a huge difference you can make. Funds will benefit the most vulnerable women and children and will be sent to the NGO staff via Western Union.
Registered NGO in Afghanistan and the recipient of numerous international awards.
