Ironman 2020
Donation protected
Hi Friends + Family!
I am starting a GoFund me for the 70.3 Ironman race in Coeur D' Alene, Idaho this coming summer (June 2020). I also plan on completing a full Ironman in 2021. My goal is to finish in the top 10% of my age group.
So far I have completed the Windermere Marathon and most recently, the Half Marathon in Moscow, Idaho. I'm always looking for new ways to push myself and step out of my comfort zone. I am determined to complete an Ironman. I have already signed up for the race, and am committed to the extensive training both mentally and physically.
As most of you know, getting into the sport can be a financial burden. In order to race I am going to need to purchase a few things (bike, wetsuit, trisuit, goggles, etc). I'm currently working 2 jobs at WSU and maintaining a full school workload. I'm studying Criminal Justice and Sociology with aspirations to work in Special Operations/Law Enforcement.
Anything helps and If you don't want to donate money, I would appreciate any gear donations as well.
Any left over money not used for equipment will be donated and dispersed between the Hilinski Hope Foundation and Wounded Warrior Foundation.
Anything helps, thank you!
Best,
McCall Penna
