Puerto Rico Hurricane Relief Fund

Donation protected
Hurricane Maria struck Puerto Rico in September 2017, only two weeks after Hurricane Irma passed by the island and left 1 million people without power.   Sadly, in 2020,  people are still suffering from the destruction and trauma of the hurricanes. Many people lost their livelihoods in the storm, and many have left Puerto Rico forever.

The United Church of Christ Disaster Ministries is still working in Puerto Rico to bring relief. In June 2019, we led a group of 12 people from UCC congregations to Puerto Rico and repaired damaged roofs.  It is a 3 day process of power washing the roof, filling cracks and holes, and then sealing the roof.  There are still many 'blue tarps' in Puerto Rico, houses waiting for repairs.

Our next trip is June 6-13, 2020 and we will use raised funds to support our group going to Puerto Rico to serve those still in need in Puerto Rico.  While most of the world has forgotten the damage done in Puerto Rico, we are committed to help families survive, recover, rebuild and thrive.  Please let us know if you are interested in going on the trip.

Every single dollar brings a message of Love, Hope, and Partnership.  Thank you for your donations.
