Hi my name is Paula and I am helping to raise funds for a dear friend of mine (who has begged me to keep her and her family anonymous due to the nature of her situation) who is facing an incredibly challenging time, and she desperately needs my help to secure a safe and stable future for her and her three beautiful children. Recently, she bravely left an abusive relationship, taking on the sole responsibility of caring for her children, one of whom has significant disabilities requiring extensive specialist care and frequent appointments.

Despite working tirelessly to provide for her family, the immense physical, mental, and financial pressures are taking their toll. The most immediate and critical concern is the imminent threat of losing their home. Due to recent interest payment increases, she is on the verge of being evicted. She needs to raise £2000 urgently to pay the mortgage company, which will buy her precious time to sell her property herself. This will allow her to recover some equity, which she can then use to secure a rented property until a suitable housing association home becomes available.

Without these vital donations, she and her children face homelessness. The local council has indicated that their only option would be temporary hotel accommodation, potentially anywhere in the country. This is simply not appropriate for her disabled child's complex needs and would cause further trauma and disruption to an already vulnerable family.
