23 year-old Native American woman needs help getting to Germany for the 23rd UN Climate Talks!
Hi, my name is Isabella Zizi and I am Muskogee Creek, Northern Cheyenne and Arikara. I am the youngest member of Idle No More SF Bay, a signatory on the Indigenous Women of the Americas Defending Mother Earth Treaty and Director of Earth Guardians of the Bay Area. Ensuring a future with clean air, water and soil is vital to my generation and those to come. I understand that being at COP23 will enable me to network with other Indigenous people from around the world, as well as other youth, who are also working for a sustainable and healthy future for ourselves and the coming generations.
I have been accredited as a COP23 delegate through the Women’s Earth and Climate Action Network and will also be a member of the Indigenous Environmental Network delegation at the UN Climate Talks (COP23) in Bonn, Germany in November. I need your help to pay for travel and lodging expenses. Ensuring a future with clean air, water and soil is vital to my generation and those to come. I understand that being at COP23 will enable me to network with other Indigenous people from around the world, as well as other youth, who are also working for a sustainable and healthy future for ourselves and the coming generations.
