Hi,
This is Izzy. As you might know I am having a Bat Mitzvah. For my Mitzvah project I am raising money to help the Adopt-A-Family program at the organization Families Forward Learning Center (formerly Mother's Club).
Families Forward is non-profit organization that provides free education and social services to low income families with childen from birth to five years old. Please check out their website here where you can read more about their programs and mission. www.familiesforwardlc.org Over the summer I volunteered in the the age two classroom and the preschool room where I had a lot of fun playing and hanging out with the kids. But, now I want to do more to support Families Forward and the children and parents they support.
The Adopt-A-Family sponsors a family's holiday gifts/meal costs. By donating, you would contribute to covering meals and holiday expenses for families who need the extra help.
I have set my goal at $800 dollars and I am hoping to help out more then one family. Donations of any amount would be very much appreciated and put to good use at Families Forward.
