Adaptive Tricycle for Izzy Bee

Izzy was born in 2006 with the 13th reported case of Tetrasomy 8p in the world. Because so little information was known we were told if she survived the birth she would never walk, talk, eat, laugh, love, or basically function at all. Fast forward 11 years and not without extremely hard work and challenges she walks, talks, eats, laughs and the kid gives the worlds best hugs ever let me tell you. She still has many delays and challenges ahead of her but this girl will not quit. Her physical therapist has recommended getting her an adaptive tricycle to help with core and lower body strength as we have tried several traditional bikes without success. It is possible that insurance may cover part of the expensive however it could take months if not a year to get it approved. For this reason we have decided to try and raise the funds on our own. The basic cost plus the accessories to fit her needs will cost us just over $2000. No donation is too small and is greatly appreciated.
