My Fight For My Family

Donation protected

As of September 2013 my life changed for the worse. I had been having problems months before with my gallbladder. An finally September came to finally have my gallballder removed after months of pain, to only find out day of surgery I couldnt. Because in a pre-op scan they found a mass in my chest. Which ment NO surergy till further test where done to see what it was for sure in other words more sleepless an painful nights. My doctor then referred me out to an oncologist to get scans an biopsy done. After my first biopsy was done it came back inconclusive, which ment another had to be done. During this time mind you I have three kids ages 7,4 an 8months. So going into a second biopsy was hard on us all especially my little one being I was still breastfeeding. But once again before going into surgery I was told some surprising news I was pregnant with our fourth child. Knowing risk of having a second biopsy done I went into surgery well pregnant an having gallbladder problems. Coming out of surgery I ended up with a chest tub an In hospital for a week no being able to see my kids.

After about two weeks we got the news I had hodskigns lymphoma. I am stage 3 part b. Going forward I still needed my gallbladder removed, so I got transferred out to ucsf because I was high risk. Once removed I had then had the worry of how my unborn child was doing an if I would be able to keep him.

Since then I was able to carry my son to 36weeks. He came out health as could be weighing 7lbs.

But now the real journey would start. After three months after having him, I had to get my port placed an start chemotherapy. The most scariest thing I have had to face. I have to go every two weeks for treatment. With this being said we go to Merced alot an with that said I have a yukon which is a gas hog. But fits my family comfortable. I depend on my husband alot which means he misses work alot. With four children to take care of an pay to take me to appointments an the kids where they have to go it hard plus bills life for us hasn't been easy. We have a wonderful support system from friends an family that I couldn't thank enough. But with such a small income an such a big family things have been very stressful all the way around. Thank you for reading my story. Prayers an help in any way are greatly greatly appreciated. We love an thank u all.

Updates to come on chemotherapy an how me an my family are doing at this difficult time.
