Judi Lund's medical fund

It's time to help someone who is always helping others!!  Judi's journey started in the spring when she got an infection in her elbow.  She fought this infection all summer and fall, enduring several surgeries and rounds of antibiotics.  Unfortunately as she thought she was getting better things took a huge turn for the worse.  On October 6th she passed out on her floor from septic shock.  When Alex found her, he called 911 and she was rushed to the hospital.  She doesn't remember much of that time.  The infection had taken over her entire body and was the worst in her left knee.  They immediatley removed her knee (putting in a 'spacer') and she's been in the hospital since then, completely bed-ridden.  Yesterday she went to see the doctor and  was hoping to set a date for surgery to replace her knee.  Unfotunately her doctor was very unhappy to see that there was an infection in her knee and that wasn't being properly cared for.  She has transferred yesterday to Fairview Riverside where she will hopefully be better cared for, all infections will heal and she can then get her shiny new knee and GO HOME!
For those of you who know Judi, you know that Alex is her life and it's been hell for her to be away from her pride and joy for so long.  She's trying to stay positive but this has been a very long, hard journey!

The medical bills are mounting and she could really use our help.  Judi has always been the first one to help fundraise for her friends in need and she's always the last to ask for help!  Let's help her out when she needs help the most! 

Every little bit will help Judi get back on her feet...literally!!
