Service Dog For Lilly

Donation protected
The Lilly we all know well, who is a star on stage, a high honor student, a hardworker, a loving friend, and a dreamer with goals of the future that make her the most determined 16 year old I know. Lilly has a secret that shes hid from the world. She may have a sunny face and smile and not look sick but, she is.
Lilly has a rare condition called Ehlers-Danlos syndrome Type III.  It is a genetic defect that affects almost everything in her body from her joints, muscles, blood, skin, heart, to emotional health. It is most importantly a Connective tissue disease. Lilly has lack of connective tissue which holds everything together, she is like a rag doll with loose stiches. EDS paitents pain is always 3 times as worse as anyone else's pain would be in any situation. Her pain is chronic and constant. She has not felt relief ever in her life and unfortunately this condition has no cure.
She was diagnosed last year a day before she turned 16, but was un diagnosed for 6 years.she first went to the doctors complaing about her ankles, then it was her knees, and soon everything started to hurt and fall apart. To this day she is still struggling to get the help she needs.
"It takes everything in my life and turns it grey. Know one really knows how bad it actually is because I hide it so well, I dont show anyone my pain or really ask for help, because I feel like its hard for people to understand because they cant see the condition, it is invisable. I feel hopless all the time, it affects me in so many ways in my life which people dont understand, not only physically but emotionally. I'm discribed as an over achiever in everything, and I have good reason to be, because  one day I will not be able to run around, or dance, or do anything physical. I am using the time I have now."
With a service dog it will be able to preform tasks for lilly such as opening doors, turning on lights, closing drawers, bringing thing to her, picking up things and putting them in containers, supporting her by standing against her legs for balance and something to lean on, carrying medical supplies and bags, and supporting her when shes having a panic attack, these may seem like simple tasks but for lilly things like that can cause nerve issues, pulled muscles, strained back, joint dislocations, discomfort, and much more. When symptoms are very bad there are times when lilly cant even walk which is when he will come in handy the most.

With our medical bills running high, house and car repairs, and paying for green card renewals we just dont have the money to pay for a dog. Every donation counts and thanks in advance she will be very grateful!
