Rayon "Ray Ray" King

This  is 3 year old Rayon, affectionately referred to by others (including his 6 siblings)  as "RayRay!"  and his family.

On December 5, 2014 due to a horrific accident involving a grease fire, Rayon was badly burnt. After being air lifted to Augusta Burn Center and a two week stay, he was allowed to return home briefly on December 15, 2015.  

Rayon's 10 year old Sister was also injured.  She  is scheduled to return to the Augusta Burn Center and receive the first of her facial skin grafts on or about December 17 and 18th.

RayRay will return back to the Augusta Burn Center with his Sister. His prognosis has not yet been established. 

Both of these babies as well as their family members are in need of any assistance that you may find in your heart to contribute. 

This is a single Mother attempting to keep her family together and well cared for while traveling to and from Savannah to Augusta for an undetermined amount of time.

We have a long journey ahead.  Your assistance and prayers are genuinely appreciated.

This go fund me account has been lovingly established as a continuing gesture of support for the family thru the community in which they reside and to make donations convenient for those who wish to contribute but have no other means of doing so. 

Please feel free to contact the Community Director regarding any inquiries at [phone redacted].  Donations do not have to be solely submitted thru this account.  Donations can be made directly to the family and/or held in the office until the family returns home should they be in between trips to Augusta.

Every cent of every dime received will go directly to this family.  The pressing needs are gas cards, grocery cards, accomodations while in Augusta and medical dressings. Slip on (rather than pull over) clothing for these two angels are much needed  as well as the many other associated costs related to their recovery.

Rayon and Precious are now both in surgery at The Augusta Burn Center.   Mom will update when possible.

12:54 p.m.  12/18/2014
Both children are recovering  after their surgeries yesterday.  Precious received skin grafts on her face and arms.  She is expected to be released from Burn Center today.
Rayon received surgical wound care and evaluation.  He is expected to remain in the Burn Center until further notice.  The hope is that he may be released in time to return home for Christmas with his family.

No news until now. Precious is home and doing well. Confined to her apartment, being sheltered from outside elements. Rayon is doing as well as can be expected. Evaluations are being done and we will know more in the early part of next week.
The family asked that a post be made to express their gratitude and appreciation for all of your support.

All children are home for Christmas!  Rayon will return back to the burn unit on Monday.  We wish to thank everyone for the kind words, prayers and contributions.
