Home burnt down, lost everything...
Monday (12/15/14) night, tragedy struck a very dear friend of mine, Steven F. and his family, out in Boulder, Colorado. In the middle of the night, he was woken up by a frantic family dog, to his home being overtaken by flames. He managed to get family and pets out, only to lose everything else he had in this world, other than the clothes on their backs. Their home, and both cars, were destroyed.
Thankfully, they're physically fine, and the family pets are OK, but the loss of all one's personal posessions, family and financial records, photos, momentos, etc..., is devastating.
They are insured, but the process takes some time, and never really returns you to your pre-loss state, as you all know. I'd like to try to get a little money put together for them to cover living expenses (roof over their head, food, transportation...) and replacing things they need immediately (clothing, toiletries, etc...), pending the insurance stuff getting worked out.
If you can help in any way, please do. It's 9 days before Christmas, and a time that many people are struggling financially, but this is a guy who is of truly unique and special character, loving, giving, and caring. He would never put this GoFundMe page up himself, as he's far too proud to do so, but he deserves the help. 
If you read this, and are not in a position to give, at least share it on your Facebook, or other social media outlets, and give exposure, if not money.
