In 2012 my 16year old son Alex (now 21), become only the 4th British boy in a 240 year history to be accepted into the world famous Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow.
Thanks to the amazing generosity of many people, both known and anonymous and use of 'gofundme', we raised the money to enable him to accept his place.
He graduated in 2015, only the 3rd British boy ever to do so.
Against all the odds, Alex gained a Russian work visa and accepted a soloist contract with the renouned Tatar State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre in Kazan.
