Making a Miracle for Michele

Donation protected
I am not that much different than almost any other brother out there.  I am just a brother who loves his sister very much and is so sad because I am helpless to provide her with the much needed help she needs on my own.  Let me take a few minutes of your time and tell you about my sister.  I should start by telling you about our childhood as brother and sister together.  We come from a fairly large family.  I have 2 brothers and 3 sisters.  We grew up in a small town in Central Illinois.  My sister Michele is the middle sister.  Michele has always been such a great sister.  She was always a go getter and very smart.  Not only was she a hard worker she was also a very good and diligent student.  She was very dedicated to getting good grades and she always did quite well.  She was an "A" student with a very promising future ahead.  Well in life, you just don't know what is going to come your way.  Michele graduated high school with high honors and got a job working at a fast food restaurant.  One day while working she had an accident where she slipped and fell and injured her back.  This accident was the beginning of a life change that has become the most difficult life challenge my sister has ever faced.  I am so proud of my sister because she has been so strong through these challenges. Michele has had to endure multiple surgeries over the years.  She is disabled and suffers constantly with a unbelievable amount of pain.  She has been diagnosed with MS and other neurological issues.  She has to continually medicate in order control theintense pain.  Most recently she has been  dealing with severe pain in her feet and toes.  She has been seen so many doctors for her feet and toes issue but the doctors just don't know what is causing the intense pain and swelling especially in her toes.  Please keep in mind that this pain is severe and debilitating.  It is so intense that at times she loses consiousness. When I see her suffer it makes me so upset because there is nothing I can do for her to provide her relief.  It is so hard seeing anyone go through somthing like this but when it is someone who you really love it makes it very hard. It is really impossible for her to work a normal job.  However, having a normal job and working and being able to help provide some income for her family is all Michele wants.  The realization that her life will most likely never be so called normal again is hard pill for her to swallow.  But even after facing all of the challenges for so many years my sister remains one of the most positive, loving, caring person you would ever meet. Her lastest health issues with her feet and toes has really challenged her resolve.  She is struggling daily and the pain is really taking a toll.  Her doctor has recommended that she go to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL.  The doctor believes that the Mayo Clinic will put together a team of medical professionals that will be able figure out what is causing her pain and get her the pain relief that she so desires.  Michele has been disabled for over 15 years and this foot and toes issue has progressively been getting worse. I am afraid for her because a person can only endure so much.   Michele lives in a modest home. She is so very thankful to have a home and a place to live.  He home is not handicapped friendly.  This is a big concerned and worry for Michele because she knows that her disabilities are becoming so dabilitating.  She fears that if she doesn't make the house more handicapped accessible that she may not be able to continue to live there.  So the reason I am starting this campaign: "Make a Miricle for Michele" is because  I love my sister and it is so hard to see her endure this pain and suffering while not having the ability to provide any relief for her pain and suffering.  I started this campaign because I want to help provide her some funds to assist her so that she is able go to the Mayo Clinic and get a real shot at finding out what is causing her pain and get  relief.  I also realize she has a great need to make her home handicapped friendly and I would like for her to be able to afford the upgrades.  In closing I want to ask you to please join with us to raise the much needed funds. The ways that you can help are by donating, sharing this story with your Facebook contacts or both. Thank you in advance for your support.
