My poor pooch Ivy slipped a disc in her spine and needs to have emergency back surgery.
I came home Saturday night after work and found my little girl paralyzed from the waist down, unable to move her hind legs. She was crying in pain in her attempt to stand and welcome me home. Utterly gut wrenching. I rushed her to the emergency vet clinic where an MRI revealed a slipped disk pressing against her spinal cord, rendering her completely immobile from the waist down.
Fortunately, her prognosis post surgery is great. She is estimated to have an 80-85% chance of full recovery. Please help my little Ivy get back on her feet! All funds will go towards her surgery bills and any excess will be donated to Peace Love and Pitbulls - a Las Vegas based non-profit that is dedicated to rescuing, training, and advocating for Pitbulls.
