For over 7 years Ivory Sky Media has been a mainstay in the California Bay Area providing photography, videography, and audio services to businesses, universities, colleges, engaged couples, and even parents of children celebrating birthdays and special occasions. As a company we’ve captured memories and important information to share with your family, friends, and clients. As a team we’ve learned how to use our creativity to tell stories, we’ve created relationships that will last a lifetime, and we’ve had a lot of fun along the way!
During this unprecedented time we are like many other small businesses and individuals who have lost and rescheduled work opportunities. We’ve attempted to overcome the challenges that come with the reduction of income by seeking out personal and government resources. However, personal funds are limited and government resources have not reached us. Ivory Sky has applied for funding from both the Economic Disaster Loan and the Payroll Protection Plan but have not received any responses. Without these funds or the ability to generate our typical stream of revenue, we are left hamstrung while continuing to pay operating expenses without income to cover them.
Our employees and contractors rely on our business and personal client gigs and events in order to generate revenue and pay our bills. As creatives we thrive in places where social gatherings call for the use of our services. With these events cancelled for the foreseeable future, our team has been left with lots of time to hone our craft but no audience to engage our creativity.
You have the ability to help! We are asking for donations to help with some of these business expenses. Even a small donation will help us out in a major way. Receiving and utilizing your donations will help us maintain our team, our creative space, and our processes. This fund will help our company, our team members, and can even help family members of our team members affected by COVID-19.
100% of donations received will go directly towards the following areas of need:
-Operating expenses related to the lease of our office space and storage of our equipment
-Administration costs to continue business tasks, answer phones, emails, and availability to our past, current, and future clients
-Payments to team members for current edit projects and live shoots scheduled immediately after lockdown is lifted
-Payments to cover training time and opportunities
-Other expenses related to operations including insurance and maintenance costs

Ivory Sky Media is a production company made up of creative individuals who share a passion for story telling. Founded by Allen Ross in 2013, our team and footprint in the Bay Area grows each year to meet the needs of individual clients and businesses alike. We pride ourselves on producing high quality content at affordable prices while being friendly and accessible. We are proud to have trained and led many creative storytellers who have since joined new teams or started their own media companies. We work directly with San Jose State University to provide internship opportunities to upperclassmen. We’ve also hired and/or contracted recent graduates of Stanford University, UC Davis, Foothill College, De Anza College, Santa Clara University, and San Jose City College.
