IVF -Single Mother By Choice Fund

Donation protected

My name is Tiffany. I’m 36 years old (will be 37 in December). I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2006 when I first started my journey to become a mother. I have done several rounds of fertility treatment, injections, medications and IUIs on and off since 2006. In 2015, I did get pregnant with an IUI but unfortunately it was a loss at 8 weeks. I have participated in PCOS studies to try to help my prognosis. I want to be a mother more than anything. It has been my dream since I can remember. Ironically, my parents also suffered with infertility. They adopted me and my brother, Matthew, five years after me.  Adoption gave my parents their dream to become parents and they are the best parents I could ever ask for. I was in toxic relationships, often times staying because I was so scared that I would never become a mother. One day I realized that I shouldn’t put myself in abusive situations and I could become a mother on my own. I spoke to my parents and friends and received nothing but support and love. I decided to get out of a horrible relationship and pursue my dream to be a single mother by choice using donor sperm. I did two rounds of IUIs with no success. I am reaching the ending of my fertile years and after speaking with my doctor, I have realized IVF is the best option for me, especially my age. IUI is only a 15-20% chance of getting pregnant. IVF has more than 60% chance of conceiving. I have worked very hard with my credit score and finances. I graduated last year as an RN and I’m very independent. I’m asking for donations to go towards my IVF treatment and perhaps even able to get a loan. My credit score isn’t quite what I need to be approved. My doctor gave me a quote last week for $26,000 for a round of IVF. I don’t exactly like asking for help, but I will do whatever I can to have a child a be a mother. I am also looking into be a foster mother. Adoption would definitely be something to consider, but it is quite expensive as well and they may not choose a single mother. If you cannot donate, please share. I appreciate anyone who can help in any way... prayers, kind words... it all helps! I have a group on Facebook that I share my journey and the process.
