Bernadette and her family need our help.
For the last two and a half years Bernadette’s health has declined to the point to where today she needs help with everything. Bern is basically bed bound and yet her incredible spirit that we all know remains strong. Bern has seen Neurologists, Infectious Disease specialists all of whom didn’t know what was wrong with Bern. In late 2013 she was diagnosed with Neurological Lyme Disease – you may have seen this on TV recently as it was featured on a Sunday night current affairs program. It is a horrible disease but the good news it can be fought but not effectively in Australia.
On that program a clinic in Germany was featured as offering treatment to people with similar symptoms to Bern - a ‘Whole Body Hyperthermia Treatment’ in conjunction with a protocol based around antibiotics and nutrients amongst things. The results have been really encouraging and we want to help her get there asap. The family have since spoken to doctors and others who have attended the clinic and believe it is worth trying in 2015.
We need to raise 50k to get her and Milton over there in the new year and with your help we can do it.
Many thanks and we will keep you posted.
