I've got an appointment at the Mayo Clinic!

Hi, my name is Osonia (Starflower), my friends call me Star. I'm a 48 year old single mother of 2 amazing kids, and have survived breast cancer, car accidents, and life thus far. I work full time and volunteer full time helping veterans and rescued wolfdogs and have so much more to give, but my body has other ideas. It's coming undone. My connective tissues aren't staying connected and my muscles are having a hard time working at all. Luckily, I have gotten an appointment with the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, they are my best hope to help me figure out what's going on so that I can keep living and loving. One of the absolute hardest things for me to do is to ask for help, but I have given my word to the wonderful people who love me that I will do just that. I can't get there on my own. My health insurance will help when I'm there, but I need help with a rental car and hotel. I will have to go back at least once and am asking for help for the travel. I've been struggling with this for over 8 months, sometimes I can't sit upright because the muscles in my trunk can't hold me up, there are days that I can barely walk or that my back spasms when I breathe. I am not good at not doing and can't wait to get back to spreading light in the world. I'm hopeful for answers and healing so that I can participate in life with my kids again. The next biggest step is getting to Florida for my appointment on 9/6/2023. My heart and soul thank you, so do all of my friends and family who want to see me grow old.
