It’s all for the love of Jack

Chris will either hate this or thank me for this but the truth of it is, no one is really prepared to have to spend an arm and a leg for a freak moment that becomes life or death in a split instance. Chris loves his boys and will do anything for them, give them everything and do everything together that makes them happy.
Chris already told the story but on Saturday night, Jack nearly died of bloat. Chris noticed immediately and rushed to VSS. He went into surgery almost right away. The quick estimate of $3000 is what it’s going to cost to save his life, was pretty darn close. Jack needed his spleen removed from the torsion and twisting of his stomach. There was no way around this.
I can honestly say it was a terrifying moment to get a message saying he was rushing jack to VSS. I knew something was really wrong. With our past instances such as losing Bo Jackson, I know what was going through his head. To share a moment, Chris insisted on staying in Jack’s sight while he was prepped for surgery. He said, “If I’m there with him he won’t die.” If you know Jack and Chris, that’s a very accurate statement. Helpless and sick in Mexico, I rushed home to first visit Jack at VSS. He is by the grace of God alive with ~50 staples down his abdomen and survived the surgery. The picture is Jack and Chris reunited as we got to leave with best friends by each other’s side.
I don’t think there’s a person that would hesitate to save Jack’s life. He’s an amazing dog, companion and competitor to say the least.
So long story short, I think I’m not alone in saying there’s a lot of love for Jack. I’m hoping this gofundme helps Jack make it up to dad for the big bill he racked up. His bill was much more but I’m hoping friends can help relieve just the slightest. Afterall, it’s all for just Jack!
