It keeps her alive.

This is not our first time in a state of financial desperation, and for certain, will not be our last.

What we do know, is that this treatment is her best option for survival. It is the thing that has KEPT HER ALIVE for this amount of time.

The treatment that my mother undergoes has been the biggest blessing to us. Every 3 months she travels to Southern Florida and visits the Maharaj Institute where Dr. Maharaj measures her immune system on a molecular level.

Last year, a spot appeared on her liver. Every doctor she saw recommended her usual cocktail of carbo taxol chemotherapy. The same one they've been recommending since 2019. The same one that kills every last bit of health left in a patient's body. Dr. Maharaj, on the other hand, recommended his form of treatment that works to IMPROVE and CORRECT the malfunction in one's immune system that allows for the creation of cancer in the first place. She followed what he says and as a result, the spot has disappeared.

Now, she's got a tumor in her intestine that is blocking 90% of her digestion. She can't eat anything sustainable. She's 125 pounds. He has a plan, but it's an insurmountable amount of money.

He wants her to do 4 rounds of his treatment back to back. Each round is $37,000.

Our family has made  inexplicable sacrifices to get to even this point, but as the saying goes, it takes a village and we simply can't do it alone.

We are working so hard every single day.

We are overwhelmed as hell.

We are 21, and 24.

I know that money is tight for everyone all around, but if we had 3000 people donate $5, we could get more life with our mama.

If you don't have a dollar to spare (which I completely and totally understand, lol), please just continue to spread the word. The more people we can reach, the more feasible it is to maintain this treatment, and therefore to maintain her livable existence.

Cancer is aggressive, unpredictable, unapologetic, and ongoing. I would love to imagine a time where she is healed and we can stop asking. Until then, I am trying to remain faithful in the army of people who love my mom, and the power in asking for help.
