Kenya Missions Project in Kisumu/Maasai

Donation protected
Friends and Family, as many of you know, God has blessed me with an opportunity to spend more time doing missions in Africa! I will be in Kenya for at least five weeks. I am hoping to depart on June 10th and I am aiming to return on or soon-after July 14th 2013.

There are so many things that God has put into my spirit to begin and to continue to work toward with this aspect of my ministry. However, I cannot and will not be able to achieve these things without your continual prayers, encouragement, and your financial blessings. Whether the seed is $1, $5, $50, $500, or more, I am will be sincerely grateful for your help.

I am expected to depart in less than five weeks and I was hoping that God would move on the hearts of many of you to join me in helping to fulfill this endeavor. I trust and believe that God can and will provide. He always does!

Although the total cost of my trip will exceed the $3,000 I am trying to raise in this venue, I am believing God to provide what is needed through the help of my family and friends via fb and other social networks.

In donating you will be actively participating in CHANGING THE LIVES OF CHILDREN, TEENAGERS, MOTHERS, FATHERS, CHURCH LEADERS, AND MORE...

If you cannot sow financially, I certainly can use your prayers. Every prayer will help.

Thank each of you for blessing me. This is a tremendous faith journey for me. This is the first time ever stepping out on faith in this way. God bless you.

I have four (4) core objectives for my 5 week trip for June 10 - July 14:

1. In Huruma, Kenya - I am helping to provide clothing, shoes, exercise literature, and food for a foster/orphanage housing 48 children and teens - 25 boys and 23 girls. I will also conduct seminars for the young adolescent males, while a colleague joins the young ladies. The name of the organization is called Christ Chapel Children's Centre.

2. In Nairobi, Kenya - I will be teaching a course on biblical doctrines to a group of about 35 pastors (men and women). I will conduct leadership training for the pastors, also. I intend to gift each of them with a comprehensive study bible by Nelson.

3. In Kisumu, Kenya - I will help to provide leadership, financial management, and skills training for a group of women living together with HIV/AIDS in a small village. Because these women are underprivileged and jobless, I want to help empower them by gifting them with a small financial token to begin their own small scale businesses so that they may learn to provide for themselves. The name of the group is Rieko E Teko Women's Group, which means "Knowledge is Strength."

4. In the remote region belonging to the Maasai - I intend to help construct a new elementary classroom and kitchen to an existing school called Olkaitoriorri Maasai School that currently has grades 1 through 5. It is desperately needed for this region.
