isontic Education App

Back Story: During the first few years of high school I noticed there were not many tools to help students in high school with scheduling, homework management and grades/assignments. My high school did have some useful tools, but they were spread out on different platforms and were often outdated to current standards. So in the summer of 2018, right before my senior year, I created the Redwood High school app. As soon as it came out, I had about 300 users and by the end of the year it grew to almost 600 users. I soon got messages from other students in our district saying they wanted an app for their school too. This lead to the creation of the Tamalpais High School app, but then I noticed it was becoming too hard to manage, maintain and update both apps. That sprouted an idea for an app that could handle multiple schools, not just one. This is where the isontic Education app comes in and when it launches, it will support Redwood High School and Tamalpais High School at the end of this summer. By 2020, it will support Drake High School and San Rafael High School as well.
I have set up this GoFundme to help pay for test devices and development costs. I am hoping this app will inspire other computer programming students to challenge themselves to fix problems they see in the world.
