Isla's Road to Recovery


On Friday February 7th 2014 Andrew and Leanne welcomed their 3rd child into this world, a beautiful baby girl named Isla Indigo. Born at 7:51pm and weighing in at 7lb 12oz Isla was immediately the apple of her parent’s eyes and adored by her older siblings Jackson and Addison. 

Fast forward 3 years to Saturday July 1st 2017. A day of no real importance to the Magann family until now. 
For on this day the unimaginable happened.
Their beautiful, bubbly, loving little girl Isla Indigo was diagnosed with Pre B acute lymphoblastic Leukaemia.

Having endured so much already with blood and platelet transfusions, a lumbar puncture and the retrieval of bone marrow just to name a few things, our girl Isla has a long road to recovery a head of her. Her treatment plan is 2.5 years long, it’s going to intense and confronting and although the final outcome is a positive one no 3 year old should have to go through this.

As we all know money can be tight at the best of times when you're raising a young family. We have set up this account to help support Leanne & Andrew so they don't need to worry about money and they can just concentrate on getting their baby girl home & well again.
